Ok so I know it's been a while since my last post.. 2 Years to be exact.
Life has had other priorites for me! I spent this last years enjoying my darling daughter and husband. Our family has been through many changes in 2012 and 2013. We made the tough desicion to close Joe's Towing Business and he went back to a previous employer in the towing industry. In October 2012 he decided to make a career change and joined the Garda team as an armored transport driver, and just last week again switched jobs and is now an Armored Guard for a private security company.
Katie has made a fluid transition from Infant to Toddler. She is picking up on new things each moment. She is so smart it scares me! She potty trained herself in a matter of a month thanks to the encouragement she got from her friend Hannah Troka. She was potty training at home and wanted to show "Kathy, how to potty like a big girl" I wasn't ready for that step yet but she sure was. Thanks to a sticker chart above her potty seat and the rewards of mini M&Ms and Skittles it was a rather easy process.
In August, Katie started to go to an at home preschool, Miss Jessi's Place. Katie LOVES it there and has flourished! As grateful as we have been that since going back to work, that our parents were able to watch Katie for us, we knew it was time for her to go into care with other children when we were at the Kangaroo petting farm in Arlington she'd rather pet the kids than the Roos.
